How to reduce the risk for your pets:
Try to keep pets away from muddy or stagnant water. Be vigilant in washing their paws if they have been outdoors. Reduce the access to wet soil. If exposed to wet soil, we recommend you wash your pet’s paws and dry well.
If you suspect your pet may have been exposed, please contact us during business hours on (07) 4045 5555. If after hours, please contact your nearest 24-hour veterinary clinic. Alert: Time is crucial in dealing with this disease so please don’t delay seeking veterinary advice.
